PREVIEW: David Tennant On Room 101 - Contains Spoilers!!

Yesterday evening saw David Tennant take part in the recording for the hit BBC One show Room 101 at Elstree Studios.
The long-running comedy moan-fest sees stars try to get their pet peeves banished to Room 101 - the title is of course a reference to the room of horrors created by George Orwell in the classic novel 1984. Each episode sees host Frank Skinner encourage three celebrities to reveal what rubs them up the wrong way, and he chooses the most deserving to be eliminated forever.  Appearing alongside David were veteran broadcaster Sir Trevor McDonald and Irish actress and comedian Aisling Bea.

The show will be broadcast on BBC One in early 2016 but for those of you who can't wait to see what David chose carry on reading below, for those who don't want to be spoiled look away now!

SPOILERS TO FOLLOW - Do not continue reading if you don't want the show to be spoiled!!

David chose three rather obscure subjects that he wished to be consigned in to oblivion choosing sushi, flossing and his own interpretation of the South African accent.
He also did rather well in having his choices consigned to the depths of Room 101 but you'll need to wait until the show airs to see which ones make it!

Another highlight of the filming was host Frank Skinner who is a huge Doctor Who fan. He shared an anecdote on working with David before David was cast in the role as the Doctor. The pair starred together in the 2003 BBC Radio 4 audio drama, The Rotters' Club, alongside David Troughton.
Frank recalled how excited he was to work with Troughton, as he was the son of former Doctor Patrick Troughton, little realising he was also working alongside the future Tenth Doctor!

Look out for the new series of Room 101 when it hits our screens in the new year!
