USA: Season Subscription Tickets For RSC's King & Country Plays On Sale To BAM Members From Today



Tickets to see David Tennant perform in Richard II as part of a cycle of Shakespeare's history plays at The Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York have now gone on sale to BAM Members. The Royal Shakepeare Company's tetralogy King and Country: Shakespeare’s Great Cycle of Kings transfers to the USA following a winter run at the Barbican Theatre in London in March 2016. Members have early access to buy a season subscription (i.e. tickets to 4 or more shows) to the BAM 2016 Winter / Spring season from today.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's productions of four history plays - Richard II, Henry IV Parts 1 & 2 and Henry V - will be performed in New York between March 24th - May 1st 2016. Marking the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, BAM, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and The Ohio State University present King and Country: Shakespeare’s Great Cycle of Kings, comprising the four plays Richard II; Henry IV, Part I; Henry IV, Part II; Henry V. David Tennant returns in the title role of Richard II, Antony Sher and Jasper Britton play Falstaff and Henry IV respectively in the Henry IV plays, and Alex Hassell continues the journey of young Prince Hal, who reaches maturity as Henry V in the final play of the tetralogy. The plays are directed by the RSC's Artistic Director Gregory Doran.

BAM Membership is available at a number of levels and prices starting from $85 giving a wide range of benefits. All levels allow advance access to tickets and reductions on subscriptions and tickets to performance-related talks and cinema screenings.

Tickets for single plays in the season will be available to BAM Members from 30th November and to the general public from 7th December.
