DAVID TENNANT REVIEW OF 2015: December - A Trip To Brazil & A Star Wars Panto



As 2015 wound down, David Tennant took a trip to Brazil to promote his new show Marvel's Jessica Jones. He also got into the Christmas spirit by appearing in the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show Christmas Panto. The year ends with some treats for January already in the pipeline including some TV appearances and a return to the stage.

In a new interview, David described Kilgrave, his character in Marvel’s Jessica Jones as a mind-controlling psychopath. In a rare venture onto social media, he and co-star Krysten Ritter took part in a Tumblr Q&A session



David and Krysten attended Brazilian fan convention CCXP. They signed autographs for fans and took part in a press conference about the show but unfortunately their panel session was cut short with no explanation given. 
The pair were also interviewed for Brazilian blog site Nerd Rabugento, UOLFuera de Foco and Canal das Bee



Season 2 of Broadchurch premiered at last in Germany on 13th Street 
With season 3 due to start shooting in summer 2016, Olivia Colman dashed fans’ hopes of romance blossoming between Hardy and Miller. 
Series 2 of Broadchurch was revealed as one of the most watched shows of 2015. 


David was one of a number of guest stars on a Christmas edition of the Channel 4 show Very British Problems. He also guested on A Grand Night In: The Story Of Aardman on BBC One.

David narrated a countdown of the Greatest SciFi Movies on Channel 5 and a new documentary about Albert Einstein, Inside Einstein’s Mind: The Enigma Of Space And Time


Photos were released for two of David’s upcoming guest appearances in the New Year: Room 101 on BBC One and Jamie & Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast on Channel 4. 

Doctor Who


We celebrated the 10th anniversary of David’s first full episode of Doctor Who – The Christmas Invasion

David starred in the Absolute Radio Star Wars-themed Breakfast Show Christmas Panto. As usual, photos and videos were released following the live show. 

Theatre


Ahead of David’s return to the stage in Richard II, the Royal Shakespeare Company released a trailer for the King & Country cycle, opening at the Barbican Theatre in January.
