PHOTOS - THROWBACK THURSDAY: David Tennant & The Original 2013 Cast Of Richard II

As David Tennant returns to the stage in the role of Richard II for the Royal Shakespeare Company tonight, our Throwback Thursday selection revisits the original cast photos from the 2013 production. The set of pictures by Kwame Lestrade were released by the RSC shortly before the play opened at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon in October 2013.

Other members of the original 2013 cast included Nigel Lindsay as Bolingbroke, Michael Pennington as John of Gaunt, Emma Hamilton as the Queen and Oliver Rix as Aumerle. Oliver Ford Davies and Jane Lapotaire will be returning to their respective roles of the Duke of York and the Duchess of Gloucester for the short London run.

Limited tickets may be available still from the Barbican Box Office and day tickets are available in small quantities to be purchased in person. Click here for performance dates.
