David Tennant appeared briefly on BBC News today to explain why we should be celebrating Shakespeare today, on the 400th anniversary of the Bard's death.

David is in Stratford-upon-Avon today preparing for tonight's srtar-studded TV spectacular, Shakespeare Live! From The RSC. He'll be hosting the two-hour show, alongside Catherine Tate, which goes out on BBC Two from 8.30pm BST and will be streamed live into cinemas across the UK and Europe.
