WORLD PREMIERE:Richard II Starring David Tennant Available To Stream Worldwide Now


The Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Richard II starring David Tennant is now available to stream live via the new BBC pop up channel Shakespeare Day Live. The channel and live stream are part of BBC events to mark the 400th Anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare. And there's great news for fans outside the UK - the live stream is available to view wherever you are in the world!

Richard II will be available to stream for the next six months, as will other content from BBC Shakespeare Day Live, a temporary online channel curated jointly by the BBC and the British Council. To see what else is available to watch click here.

Richard II was recorded live from the stage of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon in November 2013. The sell-out production also stars Nigel Lindsay, Oliver Ford Davies, Jane Lapotaire and Michael Pennington.

The live stream launches a weekend of events celebrating the life and works of William Shakespeare, which includes the live celebration of the life and works of Shakespeare presented by David Tennant and Catherine Tate and airing on BBC Two from 8.30pm tomorrow.
