BROADCHURCH: David Tennant & Olivia Colman Are Back On Set For Third Series


David Tennant and Olivia Colman began their first day back at work on the third and final series of Broadchurch today and ITV have released the above photo of them on location in Clevedon. The series will continue shooting in Dorset and Somerset throughout the summer of 2016.

Series three of Broadchurch will see a brand new storyline as Hardy and Miller are reunited to investigate a serious sexual assault. The programme makers spent a year researching with Dorset-based organisations who specialise in dealing with victims of sexual assault, and police advisors who specialise in investigating crimes of sexual violence. Chris Chibnall has received advice from two of Dorset's specialist sexual assault advice and support agencies throughout the writing process. Broadchurch’s final chapter looks at the emotional cost to all of those involved and the irreparable damage to friendships and relationships.

The drama is expected to air in the UK on ITV in early 2017.
