AUDIO: The Adventures Of Luther Arkwright Starring David Tennant Now Available As A Download

Big Finish have now made their 2005 audio drama The Adventures Of Luther Arkwright available as a download for the first time. The adaptation of Bryan Talbot's iconic graphic novel stars David Tennant as the eponymous dimension hopping hero, fighting the Royalist cause in a neo-Cromwellian dystopian alternative future.

The Adventures Of Luther Arkwright
Luther battles against the Disruptors in a parallel world where many things are familiar - but nothing is the same.
The alternative England where Luther fights the Disruptors did not see the monarchy restored after the English Civil War and has been under the rule of the Puritan Parliamentarians for hundreds of years. Lead by a direct descendant of Oliver Cromwell, England is ripe for the taking by European superpowers that are preparing to invade.
Many in England dream of past glories and an empire ruled by the long exiled Kings and Queens of England. A second Civil war is brewing - its aim to bring Prince Charles to the throne and Luther must help to ensure that the right side wins - not just for the sake of this world, but for all worlds...

The cast also includes Siri O'Neal as Rose Wylde, India Fisher as Princess Anne and Paul Darrow as Cromwell.

You can grab the download today at the special price of £5, increasing to £7.99 after 1st September. The CD is also available, priced at £9.99.

David was a star of multiple Big Finish recordings before being cast as the Tenth Doctor in 2005: visit the Big Finish website for more information.
He also returned to Big Finish earlier this year to record three new audio adventures as the Tenth Doctor alongside Catherine Tate: more details here
