David Tennant Introduces Robert Louis Stevenson's Kidnapped: Part 2 On BBC Radio 4 Today



David Tennant provides a short introduction to the second episode of a two part radio adaptation of the classic adventure novel, Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson. Said to be Stevenson's personal favourite among his own stories, Kidnapped is one of several dramatisations featured in BBC Radio 4's short season paying tribute to the Scottish writer which can be heard over the next few weeks.

Stevenson's gripping adventure story, dramatised by Chris Dolan. 
After the murder of the Red Fox, Alan and David are pursued through the Highlands by a troop of English soldiers. Hunted almost to the point of exhaustion the pair decide to head south to confront Alan's treacherous uncle, Ebenezer.

As previously announced, on Sunday 4th December David will be starring as Wiltshire in Terror In The South Seas: The Beach Of Falesa, the first of two radio adaptations by Jane Rogers from the Robert Louis Stevenson collection South Sea Tales. Find out more here.
