Bad Samaritan Footage To Be Shown At Berlin Film Festival

The first footage from Bad Samaritan will be screened to international buyers at the European Film Market, part of the annual Berlin Film Festival, which runs from today until February 19th.

According to industry publication Screen Daily, Electric Entertainment is showing footage of company owner Dean Devlin’s latest project. David Tennant and Robert Sheehan star in the movie about two burglars who stumble on a captive woman during a break-in. David plays Cale Erendreich, a restaurant customer targeted by Robert Sheehan's car valet Sean Falco and his accomplice Derek Sandoval (Carlito Olivero) in an attempted robbery that has devastating consequences.

Bad Samaritan recently completed filming in Portland, Oregon and is expected in cinemas by the end of the year.

The Berlin International Film Festival, also known as the Berlinale, is one of the world's biggest film festivals and media events, attracting artists from around the world and screening around 400 films per year. The event also encompasses the European Fim Market, The Berlinale Co-Production Market and the World Cinema Fund.
