David Tennant To Appear In Season 2 Of Marvel's Jessica Jones

David Tennant is returning to Jessica Jones. He will appear in the second season of the Marvel Netflix drama about the titular super-powered private investigator played by Krysten Ritter. Entertainment Weekly broke the news today with a photo of the pair on set in New York.

Marvel have not confirmed specific details of how many season two episodes David will appear in. Fans of the show will know that his character, Kilgrave, met a grisly end at the hands of Jessica in the season one finale.

Season one is streaming on Netflix, and tells the story of Jessica who, after a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.

Jessica Jones is set to return to Netflix in early 2018.

If you can't wait that long you can see Krysten in action as Jessica in The Defenders which premieres on Netflix on 18th August.

Marvel’s The Defenders follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones), a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
