NEW PHOTOS: Another Era Of Crowley & Aziraphale As Good Omens Continues Filming In London

The Good Omens shoot went time travelling today as the action took a step back to the 19th Century. The demon and angel duo of Crowley and Aziraphale, played by David Tennant and Michael Sheen, were strikingly different in appearance as the production moved into its second day of principal photography. Gone were Crowley's skinny jeans and flowing red hair; instead the characters appeared in Victorian garb, with long coats and tall top hats, and were surrounded by a host of period-clad extras and horsedrawn carriages.

The apocalyptic comedy Good Omens centres on the final battle between Heaven and Hell, triggered by the arrival of the Antichrist on Earth. Caught up in the conflict are a stuffy angel-turned-bookdealer called Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and a fast living, houseplant-terrorising demon, Crowley (David Tennant) who have been living among the human race for so long - since the Beginning, in fact - that they've become rather fond of the planet and its inhabitants and, if truth be told, each other. But the Antichrist is missing, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are riding, and the forces above and below are calling on our antiheroes to join their ranks. Can the pair stop the inevitable? And how can a professional descendant, a former wages clerk and a part-time medium help them out?

Good Omens is adapted by Neil Gaiman from the novel of the same name that he co-authored with the late Sir Terry Pratchett. It is directed by Douglas Mackinnon and produced by Narrativia, the Blank Corporation and BBC Studios in association with BBC Worldwide. The six part series will premiere on Amazon and BBC Two in 2019. Other cast members include Michael McKean (Shadwell), Miranda Richardson (Madame Tracy), Nina Sosanya (Sister Mary Loquacious), Jack Whitehall (Newton Pulsifer) and Adria Arjona (Anathema Device).
