Olan Rogers To Preview Final Space Starring David Tennant At New York Comedy Festival

Olan Rogers is bringing the hotly anticipated animation series Final Space, featuring David Tennant among its voice cast, to the New York Comedy Festival next month. The filmmaker and comedian will be part of the line up of the first ever TBS Comedy Hub, the festival's headquarters, where attendees will have access to exclusive TBS-curated programming. There will also be TBS exclusive content available to those not attending the event via the TBS digital app and social platforms.

The 14th annual New York Comedy Festival runs November 7 – 12, 2017. The TBS Comedy Hub is open from 3pm-11pm daily at PUBLIC Hotel, located at 215 Chrystie Street and will include panels and previews showcasing the likes of Conan, Full Frontal With Samantha Bee and Search Party.

Olan Rogers has his own panel on Saturday 11th November from 5pm-6pm called Final Space Presents: Story time with Olan Rogers. There he’ll be introducing TBS’ upcoming animated action-adventure Final Space, screening a portion of an episode followed by one of his signature story time stand-up performances.

Coming to TBS, Final Space is a serialized animated sci-fi comedy created by “The Tennessee wonder child” Olan Rogers. Rogers is an independent filmmaker, actor, comedian and entrepreneur with close to a million YouTube subscribers. The space soap opera follows the adventures of an astronaut called Gary Space and his sidekick, a planet-destroying alien called Mooncake. David Tennant voices the pair's nemesis, the evil Lord Commander, who has his sights set on Mooncake's awesome power. Other cast includes Fred Armisen, Tom Kenny, Tika Sumpter, Steven Yeun, Ron Perlman, Gina Torres and Coty Galloway.

Final Space is due to premiere on TBS in the USA in early 2018.
