Bad Samaritan, the new thriller starring David Tennant, will be released in cinemas in the UK on Friday 24th August, it has been announced today by Signature Entertainment.

UK & AUSTRALIA: Watch David Tennant On The Late Late Show With James Corden

As we posted a couple of days ago, David Tennant will be a guest on US chat show The Late Late Show With James Corden on May 1st to talk about his new feature film Bad Samaritan. Luckily if you live outside the USA and Canada there will also be opportunities to catch the show.
If you live in the UK, SKY One broadcasts a highlights show, The Late Late Show with James Corden: Best of the Week, with new episodes on Tuesdays from 10pm, which are then repeated through the week. David’s interview is expected to be included in the show airing from Tuesday 8th May.
Viewers in Australia can watch full episodes of The Late Late Show on Channel 11 from 11.45pm the day after they premiere in the USA. David’s show should air in the evening of Wednesday 2nd May.

David Tennant On Jodie Whittaker: "She's Going To Be A Sensation"

David Tennant has been speaking to the US magazine Newsweek about playing perhaps his darkest character yet, the murderous Cale Erendreich in the new Dean Devlin movie Bad Samaritan. He also talked about the next series of Doctor Who, which sees Jodie Whittaker take over the lead role.  

In Bad Samaritan, two young thieves, played by Robert Sheehan and Carlito Olivero, make a terrifying discovery in a house they intend to rob -  a young woman is imprisoned in chains there. When they report the owner, Erendreich, to local police they find that they have drawn the attention of a psychopath who will stop at nothing to get his revenge.


On taking on darker roles:

Further screenings of David Tennant's latest film, You, Me And Him, have been announced in Leicester, Teignmouth and Stamford. The Stamford screening will also include a Q&A session with Daisy Aitkens.  The OurScreen screenings we are hosting in North London, East London and Stratford-upon-Avon are also confirmed for this Sunday and you can see the full list of upcoming screenings below.
The first full length feature film by writer and director Daisy Aitkens, You, Me And Him is a delightful new British comedy with a very modern twist. Olivia and Alex (Lucy Punch and Faye Marsay) are a lesbian couple who are very much in love. As the question of pregnancy beckons, they befriend their new neighbour, John (David Tennant), and lines begin to blur as the trio finds themselves in some truly uncharted territory. The first 14 minutes of Call Of Duty World War II: Zombies - The Shadowed Throne has been released as a teaser for the new DLC.

The Shadowed Throne is the fourth Nazi Zombies map in Call of Duty: WWII. It is part of the game's second DLC, The War Machine. It takes players to the heart of Nazi Germany, where Doctor Straub prepares for a final confrontation in his airborne zeppelin.

The main characters in the chapter are Drostan Hynd, Olivia Durant, Marie Fischer, Jefferson Potts.
David Tennant voices Drostan Hynd, an antiques expert and former art thief who is given the choice to join the mission or go to jail.

Cameron Dayton, the Creative Director at Sledgehammer Games and Darin De Paul, who plays Hank Rideau in the game also shared some photos of David at a read through for the game on twitter yesterday. Check out a new behind-the-scenes look at Bad Samaritan, the upcoming thriller from Dean Devlin, set to hit theaters next month. Collider have posted the exclusive featurette featuring David Tennant, Robert Sheehan, Kerry Condon, Carlito Olivero and Devlin himself, who share information about the film and in particular about David's characterisation of then psychotic Cale Erendreich.

In Bad Samaritan, two parking valets find themselves in deep peril after a scam they are pulling to rob the houses of their clients goes wrong and they attract the attention of a dangerous killer.

David Tennant will be a guest on The Late Late Show With James Corden on May 1st to talk about his new feature film Bad Samaritan.

Star of stage, cinema and TV, British writer, actor and host James Corden heads up the late-late night CBS franchise, stepping into the shoes of fellow Brit Craig Ferguson. Airing weeknights at 12.35am ET/PT, The Late Late Show With James Corden features celebrity interviews and exclusive musical performances. 

David's fellow guests on the night will be actor Elizabeth Olsen and singer Anne-Marie.

Bad Samaritan is a new thriller directed by Dean Devlin, the talent behind the international blockbusters Independence Day and Stargate. David Tennant Says Good Omens Will Be “Epic”

David Tennant has told Entertainment Weekly that his new TV series Good Omens will be “epic”. Chatting to the mag about the eagerly anticipated  six-part adaptation of the cult comedy novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, David said:

“It’s a massive, epic, sweeping show, I can’t wait to see the finished product. It’s quite hard to imagine at the moment. They’ve got months of post-production. It’s going to be one of the joys of it, seeing how it all comes together.”
David plays the role of the earth dwelling demon Crowley , he explains:  “he’s a demon who’s been stationed on earth since the Garden of Eden, who ends up teaming up with his opposite number, Aziraphale, played by Michael Sheen, to avert the oncoming apocalypse. USA - Bad Samaritan Sneak Peek Screening In Greater Philadelphia Next Weekend

US fans in the Greater Philadelphia area should not miss their chance next Saturday to get an early look at David Tennant's new feature film, Bad Samaritan. The much anticipated thriller will screen on April 28th from 8.30pm at Regal Cinemas Oaks 24, courtesy of Legion M, the world's first fan-owned entertainment company. So whether you're a PA resident or travelling in to visit The Great Philadelphia Comic Con at the weekend, you could be seeing the movie in the company of fellow fans a whole week before it officially hits US theaters!

See David Tennant's RSC Costumes For Free As Part Of Shakespeare's Birthday Celebrations This Saturday

The Royal Shakespeare Company have announced a series of events to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday in Stratford-upon-Avon tomorrow, Saturday 21st April 2018.

From 10am there will be free entry to The Play's The Thing exhibition, which is the RSC's first ever permanent exhibition devoted to the staging of Shakespeare’s plays.

Several of David Tennant's costumes are featured including his red T-shirt from Hamlet (2008) and his suit from Romeo and Juliet (2000).



Many famous faces have performed at the RSC and besides David the exhibition includes costumes worn by Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Helen Mirren, Sir Laurence Olivier, Paul Robeson and Vivien Leigh. The immersive exhibition also highlights some of the RSC’s most iconic theatre productions with treasures from the archive, including rarely-seen props, exquisite costumes and original set designs. David Tennant has been chatting to this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly about his new US movie, Bad Samaritan, which is due to be released in theaters across America and Canada on May 4.

The plot centres on a pair of petty thieves, played by Robert Sheehan and Carlito Olivero, who find themselves in a world of horror when they target a classy residence only to find that the owner (David Tennant) has a girl chained and gagged in his office. reporting the matter to the police only focuses the psychopath's attentions on them and a tense cat and mouse game commences as he seeks to ensure their silence.

Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest To Feature DuckTales Live Cast Table Read

Disney Channel's GO! Summer is on the way, and the new season of animated and live-action programming will be led in by the Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest on Saturday 12th May. The event takes place at the Disneyland Resort in California and includes a parade of the channel's stars down Main Street, Disneyland Park from 11.15am, and panels and meet-and-greet opportunities with the stars of Disney Channel's summer programming between 1-5pm at Disney California Adventure Park.

A highlight of the event will be a live DuckTales table read by the show's voice stars. Participants have yet to be confirmed but the cast features David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye and Beck Bennett with recurring guest roles voiced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Catherine Tate and Kimiko Glenn.

David Tennant's new movie, Bad Samaritan was released in Russia today. David Tennant and Robert Sheehan co-star in the horror thriller scripted by Brandon Boyce and produced by Devlin's own Electric Entertainment.

The film is released under the title Логово Монстра (Monster's Lair). The plot centres on a pair of petty thieves, played by Robert Sheehan and Carlito Olivero, who find themselves in a world of horror when they target a classy residence only to find that the owner (David Tennant) has a girl chained and gagged in his office. reporting the matter to the police only focuses the psychopath's attentions on them and a tense cat and mouse game commences as he seeks to ensure their silence.

USA: Mary Queen Of Scots Set For December Release

Focus Features has announced today that they are to release the historical biopic Mary Queen Of Scots on December 7th in the USA. The feature was originally set for a limited release in November. 

The movie stars Saoirse Ronan in the title role with Margot Robbie as her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I and focuses on the power struggle as the two monarchs clash over control of the English throne. David Tennant co-stars as Protestant Scottish minister John Knox who challenged Mary over her Catholic faith; other cast includes Joe Alwyn, Gemma Chan, Martin Compston and Guy Pearce. Mary Queen Of Scots was written by Beau Willimon and marks the movie directorial debut of the Donmar Theatre's artistic director Josie Rourke. It is a Working Title production in association with Focus Features and Perfect World Pictures.

The RSC’s Stitch In Time Auction is now live on eBay!
From 8pm this evening, The Royal Shakespeare Company will auction over 80 costumes and costume-making items to raise money for the Company’s Stitch In Time campaign, to support the restoration and redevelopment of its Costume Workshop.  The online auction will take place over Shakespeare’s Birthday for a 10-day period ending at 8pm on Friday 27th April.

Items up for grabs include trousers and a tunic worn by David Tennant, Ian McKellen’s floor length coat, doublet and hose worn by Judi Dench and Susannah York’s dress, plus many more costume pieces worn by actors including Simon Callow, Sinead Cusack, Anita Dobson, Jane Lapotaire, Antony Sher, Patrick Stewart and Simon Russell Beale. All costumes will be listed on eBay with costume measurements and a certificate of authenticity.

David Tennant's Mad To Be Normal Comes To Hulu In May

David Tennant's 2017 movie, Mad To Be Normal will be streaming on the American video on demand service, Hulu, from 25 May 2018.

David gives an award-winning performance as the controversial Scottish psychiatrist RD Laing in the film which premiered at the Glasgow Film Festival last year.
The movie is based upon Laing's revolutionary work during the 1960s when he set up a medication-free treatment facility in London for people experiencing mental illness. The Kingsley Hall project allowed patients and medical staff to live alongside each other as equals and promoted talking therapies that encouraged patients to work through their psychosis. Although dismissed as dangerous by his peers at the time, Laing's methods went on to shape how mental health interventions are managed today.

David Tennant has made a new charity appeal video on behalf of Circle Scotland's new DARED campaign.

For the campaign every member of staff at every City of Edinburgh Council school is DARED to Do A Run Every Day in June to raise money for Circle. Circle support vulnerable children and families, across Scotland.

Robert Sheehan features in a new clip from the upcoming thriller Bad Samaritan that was released exclusively today by the horror site Bloody Disgusting.

Robert plays Sean Falco, a struggling artist and car valet at a high class restaurant who has a neat little sideline in petty crime. While his customers are dining, he uses their cars to locate their houses to rob them. But when he targets the home of the wealthy, successful and arrogant Cale Erendreich, played by David Tennant, Sean inadvertently stumbles across some of Cale's darker predilections.

The gigantic animated movie Ferdinand is released to buy on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK today. The Oscar-nominated movie, features the voices of John Cena as Ferdinand, David Tennant as Angus the Highland bull and Kate McKinnon as Lupe the goat. 

Ferdinand Little bull Ferdinand prefers sitting quietly under a tree just smelling the flowers, rather than snorting and butting heads with the other bulls. As Ferdinand grows big and strong his temperament remains mellow, but one day five men come to choose the biggest, fastest and roughest bull for the bullfights in Madrid and Ferdinand is mistakenly chosen.
Ferdinand was directed by Carlos Saldanha and is based on the original story by Munro Leaf. The all-star cast also includes Sally Phillips, Gina Rodriguez and Anthony Anderson.
