One that such 'might have been' that will probably interest fans of David Tennant the most is what would have happened had David Tennant stayed on for Series 5. Something that Moffat says David "Thought very hard" about doing.
"David was just going through the, now, to me, very familiar angst about leaving," Steven says. "I went to talk to David and I ran him through what that series would be if it was him."
David did said that if he stayed it would definitely be his final series so Steven ran him through the plot for what would have been the last outing for the Tenth Doctor.
"My version of that series would be that the David Tennant Doctor would crash into the back garden about to regenerate, and little Amelia would help him back to the TARDI…

David Tennant On His Time As The Doctor, New Doctor Jodie Whittaker And How Three Doctors Almost Met In A Book Shop In Glasgow

Image
Last weekend David Tennant took part in a Q&A panel at Wizard World's latest fan convention in New Orleans. Here are the Doctor Who highlights from David's answers to fan questions posed during the 45 minute session.

On choosing his favourite Doctor Who companion from Rose, Martha and Donna
"That wouldn't get me into any trouble at all if I had an answer for that! I love them all equally in their own special way"

On how the relationship with each companion developed in terms of romance
"With Rose that was already the deal, I suppose, so I knew what I was inheriting there. I suppose vaguely there was a broad brush stroke that the Rose-Doctor thing was kind of a love story without certain elements of a traditional love story. They basically were star-crossed lovers.
"Then Martha would be the girl that he would never see in that way so that would be a sort of unrequited love affair. We knew that was the story that we were telling.
"With Donna we knew th…

David Tennant Teases Jessica Jones Season 2 And Kilgrave's Return

Image
Last weekend saw David Tennant take part in a Q&A panel at Wizard World's latest fan convention in New Orleans where he was asked about his role as Kilgrave in Marvel's Jessica Jones.

Talking about taking on the role of Kilgrave he said:
""I quite liked being Kilgrave, it was fun. I didn't know the Alias comic books until that came about...I'd always loved Marvel comics but I'd not come across that set of books. It's just one of those incredible worlds that's been created...it uses the mythology of the Marvel universe and turns it on its head and then uses this character that's been around since Daredevil issue 4...taken in this new, dark, twisted direction, it's just great. When it's written that well and you've got someone like Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, what a treat to get to do something like that."

It was announced in the summer of 2017 that David would be making a shock return to Season 2 of the Netflix and Ma…

VIDEO: David Tennant Uses Doctor Who Phrases To Reveal The Sex Of Fans Baby

David Tennant's recent trip to New Orleans for a Wizard World convention was extra special for a couple of fans who used their meeting with him to reveal the sex of their precious unborn baby!

The gender reveal has become a huge occasion for many expectant parents with various new ways of announcing the sex of the baby being used, such as cake and balloon reveals, however we think these Whovians may have topped it by asking David to announce their baby's gender to them using only Doctor Who phrases.

Handing over an envelope to David the father-to-be told him “It has the sex of our baby in,” adding “We don’t know.”
David was to say “allons-y” if it was a boy and “bad wolf” if it was a girl.

Find out what the happy couple are expecting in the video below:

David Tennant At Wizard World New Orleans - Panel Highlights

Image
Yesterday David Tennant took part in a Q&A panel at Wizard World's latest fan convention in New Orleans. Here's the highlights from David's answers to fan questions posed during the 45 minute session.

On his Scottish heritage
"[The most Scottish thing about me is] my ginger hair, which I can't really claim entire ownership of...but I've got it for the next maybe two months"
(David is currently shooting Good Omens, for which he has his hair dyed red)
"Most of me is Scottish - there's a bit of Irish in me - but I'm born and bred in Scotland to two Scottish parents - pretty much all Scottish"

On Scottish cuisine
"Has anyone tried tattie scones? I like a tattie scone, which is a potato scone, like a potato cake. The Irish call them farls. They're like a flat bread thing made of potatoes and you toast them. If you're feeling really Scottish you can deep fry them in a pan. With a fried egg on top, that's pretty good...I urge yo…
