UK RADIO: Listen To David Tennant In 2003 Adaptation Of Strangers & Brothers - The Affair



David Tennant is among the cast of The Affair, a 2003 radio adaptation of the novel by CP Snow, which has a rare repeat on BBC Radio today. The Affair is the eighth volume in the author's Strangers And Brothers series which follows the life of Snow's protagonist Lewis Eliot through his personal and professional life. Ten of the novels were adapted for the series which was originally broadcast as part of the Classic Serial strand on BBC Radio 4.

The Affair is set in the mid-1950s at Cambridge University, where a scandal threatens the reputations of Eliot's best friend and his old college. David Tennant plays Donald Howard, with David Haig as Eliot. Other cast members include Tim McInnerny, Jonathan Coy and Hugh Quarshie.

Listen today on BBC Radio 4 Extra from 10am GMT, with repeats at 3pm and 3am on Thursday morning.
