Go To Hell With Good Omens

The Good Omens shoot took a saunter downstairs today to shoot scenes set in Hell. David Tennant and his fellow cast and crew, including showrunner Neil Gaiman, are currently on location in South Africa filming a six part adaptation of the classic comic novel of the same title, co-authored by Gaiman and the late Sir Terry Pratchett. David takes on the role of demon Crowley in the production with Michael Sheen also starring as his angelic counterpart Aziraphale.

Today the production took over a former abbatoir which was to serve as The Bad Place.

First Neil Gaiman set the scene...
He then proceeded to post a set of motivational posters, Hell-style, written by himself and lovingly created for the shoot by the art department. You can see them below in all of their Comic Sans glory:

Director Douglas Mackinnon also gave a glimpse of what was going on on set:

Co-starring Michael McKean, Adria Arjona, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Josie Lawrence and John Hamm, Good Omens is a commission for BBC Two and Amazon Prime and is been shooting in the UK and South Africa since September 2017. The series is being co-produced by the comedy team at BBC Studios, Narrativia and the Blank Corporation in association with BBC Worldwide, who are also handling international distribution. It will launch worldwide on Amazon in early 2019 with a later broadcast on BBC Two.
