HBO's Camping Starring David Tennant & Jennifer Garner To Air In October

The HBO comedy series Camping, starring David Tennant and Jennifer Garner as married couple Walt and Kathryn, will premiere in the USA in October, according to their co-star Juliette Lewis. Juliette, who plays the free-spirited Jandice, revealed the date in an Instagram post made between takes on the set of the eight-part series which is currently in production in California.

Camping is based on the original UK series of the same name, created by Julia Davis and starring Vicky Pepperdine and Steve Pemberton and broadcast on Sky Atlantic. The US version has been adapted by Jenni Konner and Lena Dunham with Julia Davis on board as executive producer. The plot centres around a camping trip, organised by the hyper-controlling Kathryn to celebrate Walt's 45th birthday; however, the festivities quickly spiral out of control as the party are joined by other family and friends...and bears! The limited series also stars Ione Skye, Janicza Bravo, Brett Gelman and Bridget Everett.
