FIRST LOOK: Exclusive gen:LOCK Footage To Be Shown At RTX London This Weekend

Web-based entertainment company Rooster Teeth will be giving an exclusive sneak peek at their new animated series gen:LOCK during their self-hosted convention RTX London this weekend. The two day gaming and internet culture event takes place on Saturday 15th - Sunday 16th September at London's Excel. David Tennant stars as scientist Dr. Rufus 'Doc' Weller in the internet series created by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation.

The new footage will premiere during the RT Animation Panel on Saturday from 4.30pm in Room 3. Full RTX London details can be found at www.rtxlondon.com.

Platinum and single day tickets for RTX London are sold out but there are still weekend badges left at this link. If you're not able to attend though, you can still check in on the panel action via the RTX London live panel streams on YouTube.

Rooted in the tradition of mecha anime, gen:LOCK is set in a dystopian future where conflict is settled by battles using giant weaponised robotic armour. Earth’s last free society is on the losing side of a global war, and recruits a diverse team of young pilots to control the next generation of mecha. David Tennant's character Doc is the leader of the Experimental Science Unit and the inventor of the 'gen:LOCK' technology. The cast includes Michael B. Jordan, voicing main character Julian Chase, along with Dakota Fanning as mech pilot Miranda Worth, Monica Rial and Kōichi Yamadera as new recruit Kazu Iida. gen:LOCK is co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.

gen:LOCK will premiere in January 2019 exclusively on Rooster Teeth's online subscription network FIRST via www.roosterteeth.com. FIRST is available on a free 30 day trial but then costs $4.99 per month.
