GERMANY: Camping Starring David Tennant & Jennifer Garner To Launch On Sky In December

Camping, the new series starring David Tennant and Jennifer Garner as an unhappily married couple on a weekend from hell, is coming to German TV in December. The US comedy which launched on HBO two weeks ago will begin on Sky Atlantic on Friday 14th December and air in double episodes from 21:15, and will show both in German and with the original English voicetrack. The episodes will also be available for download on Sky Ticket and Sky Go

In Camping, Jennifer Garner stars as the uptight and controlling Kathryn who has gathered together a group of friends and family for a camping expedition to celebrate the 45th birthday of her downtrodden husband Walt (David Tennant). However, Kathryn's plans for a perfectly planned weekend go awry when their friend Miguel (Arturo Del Puerto) arrives with his new girlfriend in tow, the free-spirited Jandice (Juliette Lewis). What should have been a delightful, back-to-nature camping trip quickly becomes a weekend of tested relationships, heightened emotions, woman-on-woman crime and memories everyone would rather forget.

Camping is created by Jenni Konner and Lena Dunham and is based on the UK show of the same name by Julia Davis. The cast also includes Ione Skye, Janicza Bravo, Bridget Everett and Brett Gelman. The show is currently airing or streaming on HBO in the USA, Canada, Asia, Scandinavia, Poland and Spain and on OCS City in France. It laub=nches in Latin America in November and in the UK early next year.
