Jordan voices main character Julian Chase, Dakota Fanning plays mech pilot Miranda Worth, Kōichi Yamadera voices new recruit Kazu Iida and Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon voice field agents Yasamin "Yaz" Madrani and Valentina “Val” Romanyszyn. gen:LOCK is co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.

Rooster Teeth also announced today that they will be partnering with DC Comics to launch comic book spin-offs of gen:LOCK and their long-running web series RWBY. Gray G. Haddock, Rooster Teeth’s head of animation said, "All of us at Rooster Teeth Animation are incredibly honored that the tales we’ve been pouring our hearts into have found their comics home at DC. With these comic books, we’re looking forward to spending more time with the characters we love, taking deeper looks into their worlds, and going on more journeys. DC is a leader in the industry and the caretaker of an amazing pantheon, and working with them we know there are incredible adventures on the horizon. We’re going to have some fun."

gen:LOCK will premiere exclusively on Rooster Teeth's online subscription network FIRST via www.roosterteeth.com. FIRST is available on a free 30 day trial but then costs $4.99 per month.
