Check out the first clip from gen:LOCK, the newest animated series from online entertainment company Rooster Teeth. The mecha anime is set in a dystopian future where battles are fought using giant armoured robots. David Tennant stars as Dr. Rufus "Doc" Weller, the inventor of the 'gen:LOCK' technology, the next generation of mecha. Michael B Jordan voices Julian Chase, one of a diverse group of young pilots controlling the weapons.
The cast also includes Maisie Williams, Dakota Fanning, KÅichi Yamadera, Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon. gen:LOCK is created by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation, and is being co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.
In the clip the newest gen:LOCK recruits have arrived at the Vanguard
military base “the Anvil,” and are ready to settle in! That is until Doctor
Weller explains there's a few more tests to endure before they're fully
