Broadchurch And Spy In The Wild Nominated At The Televisual Bulldog Awards

Two of David Tennant's recent TV projects are nominated in this year's Televisual Bulldog Awards.

Broadchurch is shortlisted in the Drama Series category where it faces stiff competition from the likes of Doctor Foster, Line Of Duty and The Crown.
The third and final series of Broadchurch, which aired on ITV last year, saw detective duo Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman) and Detective Inspector Alec Hardy (David Tennant) investigate a serious sexual assault that shocked the tight-knitted seaside town to its core.

The John Downer Productions wildlife documentary Spy In The Wild, which was narrated by David, is nominated in the Specialist Factual category where it goes head to head with Blue Planet II and Horizon: Antarctica - Ice Station Rescue amongst others.
The series was one of the most innovative natural history series ever presented and deployed over 30 ultra-realistic animatronic Spy Creatures to go undercover bringing viewers a never seen before insight in to the animal world.

The Televisual Bulldog Awards is now in it's 14th year and sees awards range across drama, comedy, factual entertainment, entertainment, documentary, sport and more as well as craft categories including cinematography and editing.

There are 16 categories, all related to the television of 2017. And on top of those 16 separate categories, the show that attains the most votes overall will win the prestigious Best In Show Award, to be announced at the winners’ dinner at the Hotel Cafe Royal's Pompadour Ballroom in July.
The winners are decided after an industry wide vote.
