VOTE: David Tennant Nominated For DuckTales In BTVA Voice Acting Awards



David Tennant is a nominee in the 2017 BTVA Voice Acting Awards for his role as Scrooge McDuck in the revival of Disney's classic cartoon series DuckTales. He has been shortlisted in the Television section for Best Male Lead Vocal Performance in a Television Series. The full list of nominees in the category are:
- Alfred Molina as Rippen (Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero) 
- Andre Robinson as Niko (Niko And The Sword Of Light)
- David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck (DuckTales)
- Eric Edelstein as Grizzly (We Bare Bears)
- Phil LaMarr as Samurai Jack (Samurai Jack)
- Rhys Darby as Coran (Voltron: Legendary Defender)
- Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont (Castlevania)
- Steve Blum as Nar Est (Niko And The Sword Of Light)
- Thomas Middleditch as Penn Zero (Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero)
- Will Arnett as BoJack (BoJack Horseman)

Some of David's cast mates from DuckTales have also received nominations:
- Best Female Lead Vocal Performance in a Television Series - Kate Micucci (Webby)
- Best Male Lead Vocal Performance in a Television Series in a Supporting Role - Keith Ferguson (Flintheart Glomgold)
- Best Female Lead Vocal Performance in a Television Series in a Supporting Role - Kimiko Glenn (Lena)
- Best Female Lead Vocal Performance in a Television Series in a Guest Role - Margot Martindale (Ma Beagle)

The entire DuckTales cast have also been shortlisted in the category for Best Vocal Ensemble in a New Television Series.

The BTVA Voice Acting Awards are now in their 7th year, promoted by website Behind The Voice Actors. This year's awards are made across 24 categories celebrating the top performances in voice acting in film, television, video and games. 

While the winners are selected by the administrative team at Behind The Voice Actors, you too can play your part by voting in each of the 24 categories to decide the People's Choice (site registration required).
