USA: New DuckTales Episodes Premiering On The Disney Channel In August


New episodes of DuckTales will continue on the Disney Channel this summer with more adventures from the McDuck clan due to air in August. The season finale, The Shadow War, will air on 18th August. DuckTales will return for a second season.

The Secrets Of Castle McDuck! - Premiere 8th August
On a family trip to Scrooge’s ancestral castle, Dewey tries to hide the truth about his mom as his brothers search for family secrets. 
Graham McTavish (“The Hobbit” trilogy) and Ashley Jensen (“Ugly Betty”) guest star as Scrooge’s parents, Fergus and Downey McDuck, respectively.

The Last Crash Of The Sunchaser! - Premiere 11th August
Stuck on a precarious peak, the kids secretly search the plane for the final clue about Della’s mysterious disappearance.

The Shadow War! - Premiere 18th August 
Magica De Spell is close to exacting revenge on Scrooge, so the family races against time to plan a dangerous rescue mission to save Scrooge and the city. 
Don Cheadle (“Avengers: Infinity War”) guest stars as Donald Duck’s intelligible voice as a result of an inventive voicebox. 
Reprising their roles are Lin Manuel-Miranda (Broadway’s “Hamilton) as Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (aka Gizmoduck), Catherine Tate (“Doctor Who”) as Magica De Spell and Kimiko Glenn (“Orange Is the New Black”) as Lena.


Starring David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck, DuckTales is a reboot of the legendary 1980s series and has been winning the hearts of a new generation of fans while reminding older viewers why they fell in love with the show in the first place. Joining David in the voice cast are Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan as mischievous triplets Huey, Dewey and Louie, Kate Micucci as their friend Webby, and Toks Olagundoye and Beck Bennett as Scrooge's faithful staff, Mrs Beakley and Launchpad McQuack. You can expect fun, thrills and danger over the next few weeks, as well as a guest cast that includes appearances from the likes of Catherine Tate, Kimiko Glenn, Paul F Tompkins and Tara Strong.
