CANADA: Camping To Launch On HBO Canada In Line With US Premiere

HBO Canada has confirmed that it will premiere the new comedy series Camping on Sunday 14th October at 10pm ET/PT, the same date and time as the US launch. The eight part comedy series from Jenni Konner and Lena Dunham stars Jennifer Garner and David Tennant and centres around an ill-fated birthday celebration. Other series regulars include Juliette Lewis, Arturo Del Puerto, Ione Skye, Janicza Bravo, Bridget Everett and Brett Gelman.

Jennifer Garner plays the aggressive and obsessively controlling Kathryn, who has organised a camping expedition to celebrate the 45th birthday of her husband Walt, played by David Tennant. Walt is a loving husband and father whose meek and compliant exterior hides a growing resentment of the life he has built. The trip was supposed to be a delightful weekend back to nature but instead turns into a weekend of tested marriages and woman on woman crime that won't soon be forgotten. Plus bears.

Camping will also be screening on OCS in France, Sky Atlantic in the UK and HBO in Scandinavia, Asia and Spain from October and on HBO Latin America from November.
