David Tennant, Michael Sheen & Neil Gaiman To Attend NYCC Good Omens Panel

Just announced - David Tennant, Michael Sheen and Neil Gaiman will be participating in panel for the upcoming Amazon Studios series Good Omens at New York Comic Con next month. The hugely anticipated adaptation of the cult fantasy novel, written by Neil Gaiman in collaboration with the late Sr Terry Pratchett, hits Amazon Prime worldwide in early 2019, with scripts written by Gaiman himself, who also acts as showrunner for the six part series.

The event takes place in the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday 6th October at 10am and attendees can expect an exclusive first look at the show as well as a discussion with the panellists. Miranda Richardson and director Douglas Mackinnon will also be present with others still to be announced. In addition, the panellists will be participating in an autograph signing, details of which will follow.

Good Omens is a dark, comedic story set in modern day Britain on the brink of the Apocalypse. When a fussy angel, Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and a suave demon, Crowley (David Tennant) get wind of the coming of the Antichrist, they join forces to prevent the loss of their comfortable lifestyle on Earth. Throw in a medley of unforgettable characters, some infernal riders, a host of angels, a legion of demons and a gang of unruly kids, and the end of the world will never be funnier! The show also stars Michael McKean, Jack Whitehall Adria Arjona, Mireille Enos, John Hamm, Nick Offerman and Nina Sosanya.

Amazon has also announced a very special NYCC experience for Good Omens fans. Located on the convention floor will be a peculiar elevator which will carry guests to an undisclosed location with their fate determined through the great and mysterious cosmic chess game between Good and Evil. Doors will open to reveal travellers' miserable or blessed end as they step out into either Heaven or Hell. The Heaven experience is the angel Aziraphale's bookshop, where guests can explore his collection and try their hand at talking to God. Arrivals in Hell will be given a photo op inside the demon Crowley's 1926 Bentley.

And if you can't attend NYCC, don't despair! You will still be able to digitally interact with the experience through a series of social media extensions.

New York Comic Con runs between 4th - 7th October at the Javits Center, New York.

The Good Omens panel is free to all attendees with a Saturday badge.
