FRANCE: Start Date For Camping On OCS City Confirmed

OCS has confirmed the start date and time in France for the premiere of the new comedy series Camping. The show, which stars David Tennant and Jennifer Garner as an unhappily married couple on a tense weekend trip, will launch on OCS City on Monday 15th October at 21.55, the day after the US season premiere.

Camping is based on the UK show of the same name, created by Julia Davis. Adapted for the USA by Jeni Konner and Lena Dunham, the team behind Girls, the eight-part series also stars Juliette Lewis, Ione Skye, Janicza Bravo, Brett Gelman and Bridget Everett.

Camping
Walt (David Tennant) is a loving husband and father struggling to contain a mounting discontent for the life he’s built. His 45th birthday was supposed to be a delightful weekend back to nature, at least according to his obsessively organized and aggressively controlling wife Kathryn (Jennifer Garner). But when the camping trip gathers Kathryn’s meek sister Carleen (Ione Skye), holier than thou ex-best friend Nina-Joy (Janicza Bravo) and free-spirited tagalong Janice (Juliette Lewis) in one place, it becomes a weekend of tested marriages and woman on woman crime that won’t soon be forgotten. Plus bears.

Camping premieres on HBO in the USA on October 14th, on HBO 15th in Scandinavia and Spain and on HBO in Latin America on November 11th. It will air on Sky Atlantic in the UK from October.
