At the LA premiere of the new HBO series Camping David Tennant spoke to Marah Eakin of The AV Club about his character, the put-upon Walt. The eight part comedy follows a group of friends on a camping expedition to celebrate Walt's 45th birthday that has been micro-managed by his controlling wife Kathryn (Jennifer Garner).
David also talked about how he copes with working between the UK and the USA on his various projects.
Camping is created by by Lena Dunham & Jenni Konner, the award-winning team behind girls. The cast also includes Juliette Lewis, Arturo Del Puerto,
Ione Skye, Janicza Bravo, Bridget Everett and Brett Gelman.
