David Tennant Review Of 2014: NOVEMBER
In our look back at the David Tennant news from November, Gracepoint continued in the USA, while the UK got set for the new series of Broadchurch.
The first teaser trailers for Broadchurch series 2 aired, introducing the tagline ‘The End Is Where Is Begins’. ITV confirmed that the new series would return in January.
TV ONE in New Zealand announced that they would air Broadchurch early in 2015.

David was interviewed for Australia’s TV Week.
The new twists in Episode 7 led to a big ratings jump for the series, but the extra viewers failed to stay on board for the next episode; however, there were still large gains through catch up viewings. Gracepoint took a week-long break over US Thanksgiving.
Sky New Zealand announced plans to include Gracepoint in their new streaming service NEON, now due to launch in late January.
The Day Of The Doctor was nominated in the Broadcast Awards.
David appeared on Tomorrow’s Worlds: The Unearthly History Of Science Fiction to talk about the Daleks.
Issue #4 of Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor from Titan Comics was released
What We Did On Our Holiday
What We Did On Our Holiday broke $6 million at the UK box office. The film was released in cinemas in Germany and a Spanish trailer was released.
The film was screened to prospective new distributors at the American Film Market.
Reds And Grays
There were new cast additions to animated feature Reds And Grays as Christopher Plummer, John Gordon Sinclair and Alan Tudyk signed on.
Back for a few days in the USA, David appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He also appeared on FOX LA morning show Good Day LA - click here for photos.
Penguins: Spy In The Huddle narrated by David premiered on BBC Nordic.
The Escape Artist premiered on YLE TV1 in Finland.
Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger! premiered on UP in the USA
David was interviewed on the Kevin & Bean Show on 106.7 KROQ-FM. He also appeared on the NPR show All Things Considered.
The radio comedy Believe It! starring Richard Wilson and co-starring David was nominated in the 2015 Audio Drama Awards.
David won the BAFTA Scotland Television Actor award for his performance in The Escape Artist. He spoke to Reporting Scotland about his win. He also talked to BAFTA backstage and posed for photographs.
Both David and Gracepoint were shortlisted in the People’s Choice Awards.
David made a surprise visit to a Port Glasgow school for children with additional support needs where his sister Karen teaches. The visit was featured on STV News and on Inverclyde Radio.
Catherine Tate and Billie Piper both revealed that they had spoken to David about working with him again.
